Tuli 7-night Horseback Safari

This is an African safari experience with a difference! This popular horseback trail takes you on an unforgettable adventure through the Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana’s wild and beautiful Tuli region. This vast wilderness is fondly known as the “Land of the Giants”, so called because of the massive ancient baobabs that pepper the landscape, as well as the majestic herds of African elephants that call the region home. On this 7-night mobile safari, you will explore the wilderness on horseback. Expect thrilling up-close encounters with the region’s abundant wildlife species, which include giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and African wild dog. Each night will be spent in comfortable tented safari camps, where you will find welcoming hot showers and comfortable beds. A highlight of this safari is the two nights that are spent at “The Kgotla”- this is an old tribal court on the banks of a river. It consists of an open-air boma enclosure made up of leadwood logs- guests’ beds are placed in the centre around a blazing log fire. Fall asleep to the sounds of the bush under a canopy of stars.
