This camping tour takes guests on a safari tour of Tanzania, with accommodation provided in the form of “budget camping”, and is ideal for those who like to “rough it”. A two-man tent with mattresses, blankets and pillows are provided. A safari vehicle tows a trailer with camping equipment and provisions. The camp is set up on arrival at the campsite. The tour starts with lunch in Arusha, followed by a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, where guests enjoy an evening game drive. The park’s inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Days 2 and 3 are spent in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game drives over the endless plains of the Serengeti. See great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The nights are spent under canvas in the Serengeti. The next two days are spent in the Ngorongoro: at the Olduvai Gorge, a renowned archaeological site, as well as the Ngorongoro Crater floor itself, which is inhabited by monkeys, elephants, flamingos and lions. The last day is spent at Tarangire National Park, noted for its tree-climbing lions. The tour ends in Arusha.
