Rhino Darting Experience
This is a unique opportunity to help support vital, on the ground conservation work and to make a difference. Black and White Rhino continue to face increasing threats from poaching, with numbers poached putting significant pressure on populations in Africa. In order to secure these populations more effectively, this Rhino Darting Experience will bring guests into the action to assist conservation crews to fit GPS devices onto individual rhino along with supporting the implementation of other anti-poaching methods. You will participate in the darting operation and accompany the team of expert conservationists in this vital work. Should the opportunity allow, this experience may also include the tracking of other priority species such as African Wild Dog and Elephant to better understand the threats facing these animals. You will be accommodated for 3 nights in a game lodge where you will also be able to enjoy game drives and walks to make the most of your bush experience. This tour is brought to you in conjunction with the Wildlife ACT.
