Running from April - October, Pafuri Walking Trails take place in the Pafuri region of the northern Kruger National Park, the most biodiverse area of the park. The 2- 5 night trails are led by a professional trails guide and accommodation is provided at the Pafuri Trails Camp, a rustic, authentic bush camp. Nothing compares with the thrill of encountering wild game on foot. The region is home to a plethora of wildlife species, including the Big 5, as well as over 350 bird species. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the region's fever tree forests, and marvel at the view from the magnificent Lanner Gorge. Time between walking activities is spent relaxing at camp- enjoying delicious meals around the campfire, or relaxing in your tent. The camp is an authentic eco, off-the-grid camp, with no electricity or running water. Hot water bucket showers provide a unique experience, while the camp is lit at night by solar and hurricane lamps, as well as the light of the campfire. This is a genuine wilderness safari experience- the chance to truly experience wild Africa.
