This 10-night, 11-day Kenya safari tour combines spectacular game-viewing with idyllic beach relaxation. On day 1, guests arrive in Nairobi, where they spend the night, before heading to Amboseli National Park the next day. Amboseli is one of Kenya's oldest and most popular parks. It sits in the shadow of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Its marshes, swamps and flat grasslands are home to herd of elephants and buffaloes, hippos, and the occasional lion, leopard and cheetah. Enjoy 2 days of game drives with optional guided walks, before moving on to Tsavo East National Park, where more incredible game-viewing will be experienced. Combined with Tsavo West National Park, this is one of the largest national parks in the world. The birdlife in Tsavo is also superb, with 500 recorded species. The last destination on the tour is Diani Beach, where the next 5 nights will be spent enjoying the tranquility of the Southern Palm Beach Resort. A host of activities are on offer here, including diving and snorkelling.
Note: A special pre-safari gorilla trekking extension can be added onto this tour. This simple 2-night extension allows you to experience the thrill of gorilla trekking. Enquire for more details.
