Kenya and Tanzania Highlights Tour

On this camping safari tour, guests will be taken on a 12-day adventure that showcases the best of Kenya and Tanzania. Visit their most famous nature destinations, as well as the lesser-known safari gems. The tour begins in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. From here, guests head to the Great Rift Valley to visit the Mount Longonot Volcano, where they will enjoy incredible views and a bit of game-viewing. Hell’s Gate National Park is the next destination, where you will explore the high basaltic cliffs and enjoy a boat cruise safari on Lake Naivasha. Then it is on to the Masai Mara, home of the famous Masai tribe, whose plains feature a rich variety of wildlife species. Enjoy exceptional game-viewing in the Mara, before moving into Tanzania to visit Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. You will then head to what is perhaps the world’s most acclaimed wildlife region- the Serengeti. The Serengeti exemplifies wild Africa- you will traverse the endless plains on extensive game-drives, enjoying incredible wildlife sightings. The last wildlife destination is the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic crater whose steep walls and lush plains house a plethora of wildlife species, including the Big 5. On day 10, you will get a taste of local culture with a visit to a Masai village on foot. Spend the last day in Arusha, a lively Tanzanian city, before taking a scenic route back to Nairobi.
