This safari tour has been specially planned in order to track the famous African Great Migration. The Great Migration is a spectacular annual natural phenomenon, in which enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra cross the plains of Kenya and Tanzania's Masai Mara and Serengeti ecosystems. The herds are closely pursued by predators such as lions, hyenas and cheetahs, resulting in what has been dubbed "The Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth". This tour lasts for 13 days and is usually scheduled for around July to October. You will visit both the Mara and the Serengeti, enjoying game drives in these incredible wildlife sanctuaries. The tour also visits the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular volcanic crater that is among the largest in the world and which is sometimes dubbed "the eighth wonder of the world". The tour also makes a stop at Lake Nakuru National Park, which is renowned as a rhino sanctuary, and is also known for its incredible flamingo population that flocks over the surface of the lake. The tour is led by excellent professional guides, and guests have the option of choosing to participate in either the Kenya and Tanzania circuits of the tour, or the Kenya circuit on its own.
