Experience two unforgettable bucket list adventures- in the space of one week! This 7-day primate safari tour, set in the jungles of Uganda, will bring you close to two of Africa’s most fascinating species, gorillas and chimpanzees. You will trek through the pristine rainforests on foot, led by professional and experienced guides.
The tour starts with your arrival in Kampala, from where you are transported to either Entebbe or Kibale Forest (time dependent). In Kibale Forest, you will have the opportunity to experience close encounters with the delightful chimpanzees that call the region home. These enchanting little creatures will delight you with their playful interactions and mischievous nature.
Your next destination will be Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. You will again trek through the rainforest, seeking out the “gentle giants of Bwindi”. You will spend an hour with them when you find them, marvelling at their human-like characteristics. The feeling of being so close to these awe-inspiring creatures is unforgettable.
This tour includes accommodation and meals, as well as a bonus nature walk and photo session at the Equator.
