Zimbabwe is one of Africa's key wildlife, nature and safari destinations. The landlocked Southern African country is home to the mighty Zambezi River, one of the largest in Africa; the legendary, world-famous Victoria Falls; and several parks and reserves that are sanctuaries for a plethora of large and small game species. The country also features several ancient and historically-significant sites. On this tour, guests are taken on 16-day camping adventure through Zimbabwe. You will visit the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the largest collection of ancient ruins in Southern Africa, and camp out in the wilderness of the Save River Game Reserve, exploring the area on foot and in a vehicle. You will enjoy the spectacular mountains, forests and waterfalls of the Eastern highlands, before visiting Lake Kariba, the third-largest man-made lake in the world, where you will enjoy a boat cruise. You will experience a thrilling 2-day canoeing adventure on the mighty Zambezi, before visiting the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, where a variety of adventure activities are on offer. You will head out in search of the Big 5 in Hwange National Park, before visiting Matobo National Park, a region scattered with massive rounded granite boulders, a curious sight. Here, you can also embark on rhino tracking on foot, a unique and exhilarating experience.
