Jake is madly passionate about Africa, its special places and its phenomenal wildlife. Jake has gone full circle after started his working career guiding in the Greater Kruger and Waterberg areas in South Africa, before moving in to the property investment and finance field in London. Returning to South Africa, Jake was involved in tourism investment consulting and managing residential and commercial property development projects, before launching the Safari Index.

Jake is a Chartered Surveyor, a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has a Master’s degree in Real Estate and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Financial Accounting, and is a professional field guide. Jake’s life quest is to find the ultimate safari spots in Africa and, and having explored much of Africa, now shares these experiences with others, helping them plan their dream African adventures.

Antonia spent much of her youth in the Greater Kruger Park on her family farm, where she first fell in love with Africa’s wildlife and its magnificent open spaces. She has travelled Africa and the world extensively, and proudly says that the best places on the planet are right here in Africa. She offers the best advice on where to go and stay in the luxury safari world. Antonia is passionate and her positive energy is contagious.

Antonia studied commerce at the University of Stellenbosch and at Bond University in Australia, where she obtained an MBA Degree. Outside of the safari world, Antonia is a passionate foodie, an author, a chef and mother of three.
