The Mozambique coastline stretches over 2500 km from its southern border with South Africa all the way up to Tanzania in East Africa. The region offers some of the most beautiful palm fringed beaches in the world, great fishing and exceptional scuba diving and snorkeling. There are a number of boutique beach camps situated along this relatively undeveloped coastal region. There are a number of islands just off the coast such as Bazaruto and the Quirimbas Archipelagos which are reached by boat or a short flight from the mainland. There are so many life changing experiences on offer from snorkeling with whale sharks or scuba diving with Manta rays to swimming with dolphins. Mozambique offers a diverse array of eco-activities - night turtle safaris to view these ancient creatures laying their eggs (December and January) are a major highlight. The Mozambique coastline is a fantastic family destination and is ideal for a romantic getaway or honeymoon.
