Balule Private Nature Reserve

Balule Private Nature Reserve is a conservancy of independently-owned game farms that share an unfenced border with the Kruger. It is located in the Lowveld region of South Africa, a vast expanse of savannah woodland and grassland that is home to one of the greatest diversities of wildlife species on the planet. The reserve thus forms part of the Greater Kruger, which has achieved legendary status for its regular sightings of Africa's most famous wild animal species, especially the Big 5. The Balule Reserve is also home to an array of bird, reptile, and tree species with enough natural splendour to keep all wildlife enthusiasts happy. Balule has a lower density of commercial lodges, and is perfect for those looking to get away from the crowds. There are some great accommodation options available in the reserve, and a good network of roads, on which guided safari vehicles bring guests into close contact with the animals.
