West Coast National Park Cottages
Thousands of seabirds roost on sheltered islands, pristine golden beaches stretch endlessly into the early morning mist, and brooding salt marshes are home to vast concentrations of migrant waders from the northern hemisphere. This is South Africa's West Coast National Park. Abrahamskraal Cottage and Jo Anne's Beach Cottage are two beautiful, self-catering units found in the park. Abrahamskraal is a fully equipped 6-bed cottage with an open plan living area and kitchen. Jo Anne's is also fully equipped, with an open plan living area and kitchen. Both cottages have barbecue facilities. Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities at the park. Explore by means of walking, hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails. The park is a bird watcher's paradise, as it is home to over 250 species. There are also several water sports offered at the lagoon. A tapestry of spring flowers cover the strandveld during August and September each year, and around the same time, guests are treated to magnificent displays of Southern Right Whales passing by.
