Waterberg Camp, Namibia

Waterberg Resort is found in the Waterberg Plateau National Park in central Namibia. The plateau and surrounding wilderness rise above the plains of the Kalahari and are high in biodiversity and wildlife species. Black and white rhino, Cape Buffalo, blue wildebeest, kudu, impala and sable and roan antelope are some of the species found in the park. Birding is also excellent, with over 200 recorded species. The scenery is stunning, the high cliffs and open plains creating dramatic landscapes. The camp features a variety of accommodation types to suit various guest requirements, including family chalets, bush chalets, premier chalets and double rooms. All the accommodation features en-suite bathrooms, fans, tea-and-coffee stations, and private porches. Some units have braai (barbecue) facilities as well. There is a full range of facilities at the camp, including a pool, bar, restaurant, kiosk and tourist shop. Guided game drives go out into the park from the camp, there are also walking trails which guests can make use of to explore the reserve, either on their own or with a guide.
