Umkumbe Safari Lodge is ideally located in the heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger, considered by many to be the premier reserve within South Africa due to large concentrations of wildlife and in particular, leopard. Animals roam freely throughout as there are no fences between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sands. Umkumbe is a family-friendly, comfortable lodge with both standard and superior accommodation, and overlooks the Sand River which attracts a plethora of wildlife to its banks. Complete with an infinity pool, which has a perfect view of the river, Umkumbe sleeps a maximum of 30 people guided by 3 professional, passionate guides. The boma is a lively area where superb dinners are served around a dancing fire, while remaining open to the starry sky.
