Tshwene Game Lodge is situated in the Taaibos River valley on the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5 and malaria-free. Rich in mammal and bird life, Tshwene is a retreat well suited to those looking to get away from the chaos of city life. The 5 privately located suites all offer great views of the valleys below and the hills beyond. Tshwene Lodge is neatly nestled within a rocky hillside. The main lodge facilities include the two lounges, pool, indoor and outdoor dining areas set on a huge wooden patio with magnificent views. All meals are prepared by the resident local chef. Unwind in the comfort of a double room with bathroom en-suite, an indoor and private outdoor shower along with African bushveld views. During the day you can relax on your private wooden deck and listen to sounds of the bush such as the odd passing herd of elephants or the bark of a baboon, after which the lodge is named.
