Tshukudu Bush Lodge, Pilanesberg

Tshukudu Bush Lodge is found in South Africa’s Pilanesberg National Park. The Pilanesberg is a malaria-free reserve that is located only 3 hours away from Johannesburg. It is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife and birdlife species, including the iconic African Big 5. The lodge occupies a prime spot high up on the slop of a rocky outcrop, providing spectacular views of the valley and bushveld landscape below. It features six luxury chalets, each spacious and tastefully decorated. The chalets have private balconies that afford glorious views, as well as sunken baths and romantic fireplaces. There are also 4 additional super-luxury suites, each featuring private plunge pools and secluded outdoor showers. The lodge is the ultimate romantic getaway for couples, offering personalised services such as private dinners on your deck or next to the fireplace. There are no radio, television or cell phone facilities (this can, however, be arranged on request). This enhances the romantic wilderness atmosphere. Guests can look forward to thrilling up-close encounters with the reserve's wildlife on game drives, led by the lodge’s professional and experienced guides.
Please note that this lodge is located at a high altitude and there are 132 steps leading up to the lodge, making it unsuitable for those who are not reasonably fit. Children under 12 are also not allowed at the lodge.
