The Motse, Tswalu

The Motse is a luxurious safari lodge, set at the foot of the Korannaberg Mountains in Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve, South Africa. The Motse, which is Tswana for "village", consists of 9 legae (Tswana for "little house") or suites. Three legae have been designed with small families in mind. Each is built from desert sand, rich red clay, and traditional Kalahari thatch. The legaes have private sundecks that overlook a waterhole that is visited by animals of many varieties. Enjoy endless views of the savannah from the infinity pool. Embark on private guided game drives, go on game walks, enjoy horseback safaris, and treat yourself to a spa treatment. Game drives are worked around your itinerary for a more unique safari experience. The reserve's rolling desert dunes are inhabited by an abundance of wildlife species, including the magnificent black-maned Kalahari lions.
