Tanda Tula Safari Camp

Tanda Tula has the honour of being the first commercial safari lodge in the Timbavati Nature Reserve. The camp is made up of 12 spacious tented suites that are affably furnished and made from natural materials. Each room has a deck with attractive views of the dry river bed below (which flows only after heavy summer rains), and a spacious bathroom with outdoor shower. Excellent birdlife, relaxed warthogs and various small antelope provide the daily entertainment in and around the camp. The main lodge and dining areas are expansive and comfortable. Guests can recharge their ‘batteries’ whilst idling between safari activities and lazing by the poolside, which overlooks a vibrant waterhole. The food is good and the staff are friendly and efficient. A comfortable bird hide in camp can be used for a spot of bird-watching, a romantic meal, a massage or just to relax in nature’s perfect solitude.
