Talamati Bushveld Camp is situated in a large open valley, affording superb game viewing opportunities. Despite the fact that "Talamati" is a Xitsonga word that means "lots of water”, the river is actually dry. The clay soil, however, acts as a giant sponge, holding a vast reservoir of underground water and keeping the vegetation lush all year round. The luxuriant grassveld in the area attracts large herds of grazers, and the predators never lurk too far behind. This spectacular natural scenery can be enjoyed from the comfort of the guest cottages and smaller 1-bedroom cottages that make up the accommodation at Talamati. These units are fully furnished and contain bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens. The camp itself has a boma with a communal barbecue area and a small shop. A stay at Talamati offers plenty to see and do. The Muzandzeni and Nhlanguleni picnic spots are located not far from the camp. There is a bird hide in-camp, and guided bush walks are available. This is all in addition to the game drives, during which guests can experience the wildlife for which the Kruger Park is famous.
