Shumbalala Game Lodge, Thornybush

Shumbalala Game Lodge accommodates eight guests in four free-standing chalets. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms even more so. Large decks in front of each room allow guests to enjoy the view. Rooms are equipped with the basic amenities and offer an outdoor shower and indoor shower experience. The exquisite presidential suite has an additional dining area and lounge as well as a soothing plunge pool. Although the suites can accommodate up to ten guests, the lodge will never take on more than eight guests at a time to ensure exclusivity and privacy. Two separate buildings form the main lodge and offer guests various areas to relax and enjoy the varied selection of books on offer, as well as internet access. The pool is partially shaded, while the well stocked wine cellar offers an eye-level view of the watering hole. The lodge hosts offer friendly, efficient service, while adding unique touches from start to finish that enhance the safari experience. The on-site chef prepares modern fusion dishes that will delight any palate.
