Selous Wilderness Camp

Selous Wilderness Camp is located on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River in Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania. Selous is the biggest game reserve in Africa, and provides a classic African wilderness experience. The reserve is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife species. Look out for the famous members of the African big 5 on traditional guided game drives, or experience an African safari from a completely new perspective with a guided walking safari or boating safari on the river. Hear the sounds of hippos in the river as you drift off to sleep in your tented room. The camp features tented suites and two family tents. The tents provide either river or bush views, and are luxuriously outfitted with en-suite facilities, romantic bubble baths and thrilling outdoor showers. The outdoor seating areas are perfect for relaxing, with hammocks and chairs on the edge of the river. Dinners are a highlight at Selous Wilderness Camp, served in the dry river bed (dry season), out in the bush, near the pool, or in the dining area.
