Sanctuary Swala
Sanctuary Swala is located in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park, famous for its large heard of Elephants and spectacular Baobab trees. The 12 luxurious canvas pavilions are shaded by tall acacia trees and are within sight of the well-frequented water hole which regularly draws lions, leopards and resident bull elephants. Tents feature a spacious open plan arrangement with king/ twin beds, campaign chairs and plush sofas; as well as en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower. Each tent has its own personal attendant. The main dining area, deck and library are lifted on stilts around an enormous, ancient baobab tree. The camp’s infinity swimming pool overlooks the water hole. Activities at Swala include game drives, walking safaris and local village cultural tours.
