Robanda Tented Camp, Serengeti

Robanda Safari Camp is found just outside Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, renowned worldwide as one of Africa’s best safari and wildlife destinations. The camp is ideally positioned right in the path of the yearly Great Migration, making it the perfect destination from which to experience this incredible natural phenomenon. The game-viewing during the rest of the year is also superb, as the park is home to many other wildlife species, including the famous African Big 5. The camp is small and intimate, with just 5 tents, offering a more exclusive experience. Each tent is spacious, with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas that offer wonderful views of the Serengeti plains. The main area features a restaurant and bar, where delicious meals can be enjoyed after a day of game-viewing. A unique feature at the camp is the lookout tower, from where guests can sip on sundowners while watching game come to drink at the waterhole just 30m away. As the camp is located just outside the park, unique activities such as night game drives and walking safaris are also possible. Guests can also visit a local Masai village, which benefits from the camp by receiving a yearly grant.
