River Lodge, Lion Sands

Lion Sands River Lodge is an ultra-luxury safari lodge situated in the private Lion Sands concession within South Africa’s Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Sabi Sands is part of the Greater Kruger region, an area renowned worldwide for its incredible wildlife populations and biodiversity. The famous African Big 5 can be seen here, as well as a host of other game species, birds, reptiles and trees.
River Lodge is made up of 20 luxurious suites, which are located on the banks of the Sabie River, each air-conditioned and affording stunning views of the river. Each ultra-luxury suite has en-suite facilities with stand-alone bath tubs and showers, as well as private lounges and viewing decks. Guests can enjoy a dip in the lodge’s swimming pool, and relax with a treatment at the spa. Traditional safari game drives, as well as guided walks, allow guests to encounter the Sabi wildlife, while other activities include bush dinners and breakfasts, cultural tours, as well the spectacular luxury tree-house- a must-do for couples.
