Rhino Post Safari Lodge is situated on a private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park and shares a 15km unfenced boundary with the famous Mala Mala reserve with an abundance of wildlife moving freely between the two reserves.
Rhino Post is set under magnificent Tamboti trees on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed, with a small waterhole positioned in front of the main deck. The nature of a wilderness area is that there are no permanent structures, so the lodge is built with natural materials– stone, wood, thatch and canvas. The 8 suites are carefully positioned with impressive views of the riverbed from the bedroom, bathroom,
outdoor shower and patio deck. The main living area is open-plan and consists of a lounge, internet facilities, a well-stocked bar, and a fireplace set in the middle of the outside deck. The wine cellar, which boasts an extensive collection, is modern and attractive, with glass pane windows and interesting interior blue lighting. Delicious meals are served on the outside deck, and the service is impeccable. On our doorstep, a mere 30-minute drive from Rhino Post, is Plains Camp (home of Rhino Walking Safaris). Here, exclusive walking safaris are conducted- it is the perfect combination with Rhino Post.
