Oddballs’ Camp

Oddballs' Camp is a classic safari camp situated deep in the heart of the Botswana’s famous Okavango Delta.

Tented rooms make up the accommodation. These are comfortable canvas rooms raised on elevated wooden decks, with rustic en-suite bathrooms that include hot and cold running water for the alfresco bucket shower – true safari style! Each tent is shaded by a canvas shelter and has a view of the surrounding bush. The main area features a bar and lounge, where guests can swap stories around the fire. A raised viewing deck overlooks the Delta- watch the sun set over the palms and wave to any visiting wildlife.

An unmissable activity at Oddballs’ is the mokoro canoe safari (offered in the genuine wooden article, not the plastic replica). Your guide will take you gliding through the Okavango to nearby islands, where you’ll walk through magnificent scenery, and see game, birds, insects, medicinal plants, tracks, signs, droppings, and other fascinating natural phenomena.

If you stay a minimum of four nights, Oddballs’ also offers overnight camping trails by mokoro, for a minimum of two nights, although three or more is recommended. These trails are amongst the most sought-after wilderness experiences in the world today, offering an opportunity to experience life in serenity and on its own terms in a way not easily achieved in the modern world.
