NThambo Tree Camp, Klaserie

nThambo Tree Camp is an intimate bush camp in the exclusive Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Unfenced and open to the wild, nThambo invites guests to relax at the main pool and bar area, or to retreat to their individual treehouse chalets and embrace the slightly lofty view. The unique accommodation consists of 5 timber, thatched chalets set on wooden stilts, each with private balconies and canvas walls. Twice daily game drives take place in the morning and afternoon in open-top Land Rovers set out in search of big game. Guides and trackers are among the best in the business, and their skill is outstanding. Enjoy sundowners at a scenic spot in the bush, and arrive back at camp to a warmly lit boma, your friendly camp hosts and a scrumptious dinner. Several lion prides dominate the area, while big herds of elephant and buffalo congregate around waterholes. Wildlife in the Klaserie are well habituated to the vehicles, allowing for close encounters where guests can enjoy superb photographic opportunities. During the day, guests are invited to recline in their airy treetop rooms, or relax at the pool, but always reminded to keep the eyes peeled for wildlife passing by.
