Nkwichi Lodge is located on Lake Niassa bank, in the north-western corner of Mozambique, on the Eastern side of Lake Malawi (or Lake Niassa as it is called in Mozambique). Close to the islands of Likoma and Chizumulu (belonging to Malawi), 15km South of a small town named Cobué on the main land Mozambique is a small triangular point, known as Mala Point. Nkwichi Lodge is set on one of the most beautiful point on the lake. It has been carefully designed to provide comfort and total privacy for guests. With a maximum of only 14 people staying at Nkwichi, the lodge can offer guests the highest levels of service in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The beach on the shores of the lake with its fine, white sand is the central feature at the heart of the lodge. Nkwichi comprises 6 chalets. All chalets have thatched roofs with open plan bedrooms to catch the cool breezes from the lake. The chalets are comfortably furnished and use natural materials. They have lovely outside bathrooms with hot water showers crafted into overhanging trees and baths built into boulders and rocks. Each chalet also offers an attractive private dining area. The chalets have been designed to blend in with their natural surroundings.
