Munyaweni Bush Lodge, Hluhluwe-Umfolozi

Munyaweni Bush Lodge is located in South Africa’s Kwa-Zulu Natal Province, in the stunning Big 5 Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. This hilly park, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and birdlife species, is the perfect destination for an affordable safari holiday. The lodge is small and intimate, accommodating just 8 guests. It caters for private groups booking out the lodge at one time, allowing for a private and exclusive experience. The lodge accommodates guests in 4 separate en-suite rooms, each with secluded verandahs that overlook the Hluhluwe River. It is a self-catering lodge, with a cook/caretaker in attendance to assist guests. There are a host of activities on offer, including guided game drives and walks, which provide the chance to encounter the reserve’s abundant wildlife. A road network of over 200km is perfect for those wishing to do a self-drive safari. Guests can also enjoy barbecues or picnics out at special sites in the bush.
