Muntulu Bush Lodge, Hluhluwe

Muntulu Bush Lodge is an affordable self-catering safari lodge, located in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Vast and picturesque, the reserve is home to a plethora of wildlife and birdlife species, including the Big 5. Muntulu is a self-catering lodge that provides accommodation for private groups of up to eight guests at a time. It consists of four separate bedrooms, each en-suite and with verandahs that overlook the Hluhluwe River. The services of a cook/caretaker, as well as a tour guide for safari activities, adds to the exclusive nature of the experience. Guided game drives and walks provide the opportunity to encounter the reserve’s many wildlife species. There is also over 200 km of roads traversing the park, allowing for self-drive safaris. Enjoy a picnic of barbecue out in the bush at one of the special sites provided, and spend time enjoying the surroundings from the lookout hides located throughout the park.
