Mthwazi Lodge, situated in the beautiful Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve in South Africa, is the perfect destination for a relaxing and affordable Big 5 safari experience. This luxurious lodge accommodates just 8 guests. It is situated in a lush garden beneath sycamore trees, and consists of three en-suite bedrooms, a spacious dining room, lounge and kitchen, as well as a garden annex with en-suite facilities. The lodge is self-catering and the services of a cook are provided; alternatively, guests can choose to dine at the nearby Hilltop Camp restaurant. The lodge has a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing in between safari activities. The reserve’s abundant birdlife and wildlife species can be encountered on guided game drives and guided walks; you can also enjoy self-drive safaris on the reserve’s 200km road network. Viewing hides, picnic sites, and barbecue facilities are also available throughout the reserve.
