Mopane Bush Lodge

Mopane Bush Lodge is a quaint family-run lodge ideally located on the Mapesu Game Reserve a few kilometres from the main gate of the recently proclaimed Mapungubwe National Park. The camp is made up of eight rooms comfortably catering for sixteen guests in a very relaxed environment. The camp is positioned within a belt of Mopane trees with pleasant views of the distant horizon. The rooms and lodge are designed in a traditional rondawel (round hut) style. All the en-suite rooms are spaciously laid out and have both a warm water indoor shower and a refreshing cold water outdoor shower. The wooden furnishings fit in suitably with the Mopane tree theme which runs throughout the camp. The open air main lodge is a lovely communal area with an excellent collection of books and the bar is perfectly positioned nearby between the inviting rock pool and the traditional ‘boma’, where dinners by the fireside are often served.
