Migunga Tented Camp is found in the northwest of Tanzania’s Lake Manyara National Park. The camp is nestled within the shade of a beautiful acacia forest. It is the ideal base from which to explore the wilderness of Lake Manyara National Park. The park is made up of a diversity of habitat types that are home to a variety of wildlife species, most notably the famous tree-climbing lions. The lake is also known for its fascinating population of flamingos. The camp features 21 luxurious en-suite tented suites, each raised off the ground on wooden platforms to provide views of the lush forest. Each tent is privately located, but is only a short walk away from the main restaurant and bar. The camp is lit up at night with hurricane lights along the paths, creating a magical atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities in the area, including mountain biking and walking safaris. Walk or bike to the lake and enjoy sundowners on the shores, enjoy an early-morning bird walk, and sample a taste of local Tanzanian culture with a visit the nearby town of Mto Wa Mbu.
