Deep in the heart of the rainforest, on the banks of a free-flowing river, lies Mboko Camp. Here, the lush savannah habitat is home to fascinating creatures such as forest elephant, spotted hyena, and forest buffalo. This is the Odzala-Kokoua National Park in the Republic of the Congo. This remote and little-known corner of Africa is a paradise for nature and wildlife lovers and offers visitors the chance to visit and explore a part of Africa that not many get to see. The camp's 12 spacious cabins are located along the river, nestled among the forest to provide privacy. Two of the cabins can accommodate families, and each features an en-suite bathroom and private veranda. Guests are assured of a thrilling and adventurous experience at Mboko: activities on offer include walking and boating safaris that provide the chance to encounter the wonders of the rainforest. Accompanied by expert guides, guests can hope to come across a host of species, including crocodiles, hippos, aardvarks, and servals. Nighttime safaris provide a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal creatures.
