Mayukuyuku Bush Camp is located in Zambia’s spectacular Kafue National Park. It is set on the shores of a riverbank in this superb wilderness destination. It is a small and intimate camp, made up of only 4 luxury en-suite tents. Each features a thatched roof, veranda, and hammock- perfect for kicking back and drinking in the stunning views. Each tent also has open-air bathroom facilities- truly a unique and thrilling experience. Steaming hot tea or coffee is delivered to guests’ tents at their specified wake-up time. Early-morning and evening game drives are conducted out into the reserve, which is home to a plethora of wildlife species, including lion, elephant and cheetah. On the evening return drive, darkness has set in and guests have a chance to spot nocturnal species. Guided walking safaris and boat cruises on the Kafue River are other great ways guests can enjoy exploring Kafue National Park. The lodge’s open-sided dining room and bar is a great spot for relaxing between game drives, and delicious meals, freshly prepared by the lodge’s chefs, are served here.
