Mashatu Tent Camp

Located in the remote wilderness of Botswana’s Tuli region, Mashatu Tent Camp offers an immersive nature experience. The camp is small and intimate, and blends in seamlessly with the surrounding bushveld. It features eight luxury tents, each tucked away under the branches of enormous trees. Each tent is spacious and comfortable, and is raised off the ground on a concrete platform. The en-suite bathroom is charmingly rustic, featuring an outdoor bucket shower- providing a uniquely thrilling experience! The enormous reserve can be explored in a number of ways. Classic traditional game drives are conducted in the early mornings and evenings, affording guests the chance to encounter the abundance of wildlife that inhabits the reserve. Cycling, walking and horseback safaris are also on offer- these are unique and unforgettable ways to experience an African safari! Mashatu is known as “The Land of the Giants”- it is home to several iconic “giant” species: baobab and Mashatu trees, lions, elephants, and giraffes, and ostriches and kori bustards. After a day of adventure, enjoy a delectable meal in the traditional boma overlooking the waterhole, sharing safari stories with fellow guests. Photography enthusiasts- experts or amateurs- can take advantage of Mashatu’s exclusive photography hides.
