Mala Mala Sable Camp

Sable Camp is an extension of the well known Mala Mala Main Camp. This smaller camp, which lies on the banks of the Sand River, is more luxurious than its Main Camp neighbour and offers more exclusivity and intimacy. A large Jackalberry tree grows through the elevated deck, shading the main living area which has enchanting views of the pool and surrounding riverine bush. The decoration has an African theme and has been tastefully realised. The quiet and classy library has an excellent assortment of books, as well as satellite television, internet facilities and a cosy fireplace for those cold winter evenings. Delectable home-style meals are served on the outside deck or in the air- conditioned dining room, whilst dinners, complemented with fine local wines, are held under the stars in the reed-thatched boma around a fitting fire. Five luxury suites are positioned next to the Sable facilities as well as the luxurious ‘Lions Den’ which is a spacious two-bedroomed suite with a large central lounge. All suites have his and her bathrooms.
