Wild camping in the pristine grassland wilderness is a truly amazing experience. Liuwa Plains National Park is a remote a isolated national park found in western Zambia. Its remoteness means that visitors are provided with a genuine African wilderness experience. There are 5 rustic camping sites located in the park, that provide an authentic and thrilling self-drive safari camping experience. The five campsites, Kayala, Katoyana, Kwale, Lyangu, and Sikale, are each located in a different area of the park, and can accommodate up to 20 guests, with 4 guests allowed per campground. Four of the campsites have flushing toilets and running water facilities, with camp attendants present to help gather firewood and water. Guests can enjoy self-drive safaris into the park, which is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, cheetah, hyena, African wild dogs and of course the spectacular Wildebeest Migration. The birding is incredible too.
