Lango Camp, Odzala

Lango Camp is located in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park in the Republic of the Congo. This is one of only a few camps found in this remote rainforest. Visitors to Odzala have the unique opportunity to visit and explore an untouched wilderness that few have visited before. The towering trees, open savannah clearings and clear streams teem with unique and fascinating plant, bird and animal species. Guests have the opportunity to explore the park in a variety of exciting ways, including game drives, boating safaris, kayak safaris and walking safaris. Expert guides will lead you through the rainforest, where you will navigate the terrain, sometimes even wading through the streams and swamps- a true adventure! The camp is small and intimate, consisting of just six guest rooms, each raised off the forest floor to provide views of the marshy area in front of the camp. Each room has a private veranda, where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding forest. Inside, the beds are luxuriously draped with mosquito netting, with the en-suite bathroom tucked away in the rear of the room. The quirky washbasin facility is set into the back of the bed headboard- a charming and unique feature! The main camp area features a raised dining, lounge and bar area, while a shady walkway leads to a star deck and fire pit, perfect for relaxing under the stars after dinner.
