Kuname Lodge and Manor House is located in the exclusive Karongwe Private Game Reserve, a lush, thriving ecosystem that is set against the backdrop of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. The iconic African Big 5 are found in healthy numbers here, and game drives and bush walks provide the ideal opportunity to spot these amazing animals.
Kuname Lodge is intimate and ideal for couples or honeymoons, while the Manor House is perfectly suited for families or small groups. The main lodge features 5 luxurious air-conditioned chalets, each nestled within the dense bushveld, and featuring magnificent views of the Kuvenjane River and Drakensberg mountains. The Manor House is a beautiful three-bedroom property situated on the banks of the river. boasting two bathrooms, a living room, a loft, a private splash pool, and a fully-equipped kitchen area. It can accommodate up to six guests.
Besides the game drives and bush walks, there are a number of activities on offer in the surrounding region. Kuname is just 45 minutes from the world-famous Kruger National Park. In the area, you can also choose from hot-air ballooning in Hoedspruit, Panorama tours, God’s Window, the Blyde River Canyon, and the Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
At Kuname, you will experience pure Africa, enjoying dinner around the fire, listening to the evening sounds, surrounded by the wilderness.
