What a great way to experience the real Kruger! Shipandani Sleepover Hide, situated approximately 3km south of Mopani on the Tsendze River, is a unique accommodation facility where guests can feel part of nature. A bird hide by day, it transforms into a primitive overnight dwelling by night, where a select few can experience the Kruger National Park nightlife first hand. Large buffalo herds and many elephant bulls frequent the area meters away from where you are sleeping. The sleepover hide provides the opportunity for guests to enjoy complete privacy, as it must be reserved in its entirety (minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 guests at one time). The living area contains a boma with braai (barbeque) facilities. There is no electricity, but two chargeable lamps that operate for about 5 hours are provided on request. The hide is fully self-catering. No activities are available from the hide; however, guided game walks or game drives can be pre-arranged with Mopani Camp. Shipandani is a unique overnight experience- your chance to experience Africa in its truest form.
