Kiba Point, Selous

Kiba Point is a luxury safari camp situated in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve. It is a very small and intimate camp, with just 4 luxury suites making up the accommodation. Each suite is spacious and elegantly designed, with open fronts and private plunge pools. The rooms also have en-suite bathroom facilities, the beds are draped in mosquito nets, and there are additional outside showers for a unique experience. The camp’s facilities include a swimming pool, a bar, a small library area, as well as a laundry service. The main activity offered at Kiba Point are the classic safari game drives, which take guests out into the game reserve. Selous is a Big 5 park, and is also the largest park in Africa. Other activities on offer include guided walking safaris, boat trips, fishing, bush picnics, and trips to the park’s hot springs. Guests can also book a night or two of fly-camping. The camp is perfect for small or private groups, as well as families, and can be booked out exclusively. Private drivers, game vehicles, and chefs are part of the experience at Kiba Point, making it the perfect destination for a group getaway, especially as guests are provided with the flexibility to determine their own schedules.
