Karongwe is a vast and pristine expanse of African bushveld, and is rich in biodiversity and natural beauty. The breathtaking Drakensberg Mountains make a beautiful backdrop to the reserve.
Besides the game drives and bush walks, there are a multitude of activities to choose from in the surrounding region. These include hot-air ballooning, the Panorama Route, God’s Window, and Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, to name a few.
