Kapamba Bushcamp, South Luangwa
Kapamba Bushcamp is a romantic camp situated in a remote location on the banks of the Kapamba River in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. It is one of only two bush camps open from April to January. The camp combines the isolation and superb game-viewing opportunities of a true bush camp with a touch of luxury. Set on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed eponymous Kapamba river, the camp is surrounded by some of the park's richest wildlife concentrations. Watching an elephant take a dip in the river can be quite an experience when you're lounging in your own private plunge pool. The central bar and dining room is positioned under a huddle of matumi and sausage trees, with a wide deck that stretches out with views of the Kapamba River.
Why we like it
