Kapama Buffalo Camp

Kapama Buffalo Camp consists of eight canvas tents elevated on stilts giving guests a different perspective of the splendid surrounds. The tents can accommodate no more than two guests and can be considered a luxurious approach to camping. The rooms are not air- conditioned, but if the windows are open, the breeze offers ample respite from the days’ heat. A small bathroom with a shower is en-suite to the bedroom. The pleasant lounge and bar area offers a comfortable retreat for up to sixteen people where an excellent selection of books as well as wireless internet are available to guests. African home cooking is served in the main dining area while outdoor cooking is served in the traditional boma adjoining the lodge. There is a charming plunge pool and in the evenings the camp is cast in the glow of eco-friendly paraffin lamps. While staying at Buffalo Camp, visitors have access to the excellent spa and gym facilities at Kapama River Lodge. The camp can also arrange visits to the nearby Hoedspruit Centre for Endangered Species in between game drives.
