Ikoma Tented Camp is located in Tanzania, on the border of one of the world’s most well-known wildlife sanctuaries- the Serengeti. The camp is located between the Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara, placing it in the ideal location from which to witness the spectacle of the annual Great Migration. From the camp, you can easily access the Grumeti River, famous for its giant wildebeest-eating crocodiles. The camp’s location just outside the boundary of the national park also makes it perfect for enjoying walking and night-time safaris. Start and end your day with breakfast or sundowners out in the bush, and return to camp to enjoy a delicious meal served around a blazing campfire under the African sky. Return to your spacious tented room, which features an en-suite bathroom and private veranda with views of the Serengeti plains. You can also visit a local Masai village for a taste of Tanzania culture, or enjoy an unforgettable hot-air balloon safari over the plains. The camp benefits the local community by providing it with daily bed night fees and a yearly grant.
