Hornbill Lodge

Located on the shores of the scenic Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, Hornbill Lodge offers charming, intimate accommodation. The lodge features just 5 comfortable rooms, accommodating a maximum of 12 people. This ensures that the lodge never gets overcrowded, making for a relaxing, intimate experience. The chalets at Hornbill are very unique in their design- the round structures are topped with thatch roofs and have open fronts without doors. This allows for a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors, and allows you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake from the comfort of your porch or bed! Room types include double, twin, and family, and each is fully equipped with a full range of facilities, including en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets, air-conditioning, and tea/coffee stations. The lodge itself features a small pool, as well as a bar and lounge area that is perfect for relaxing. Enjoy al fresco meals on the deck with the lake spread out before you.
A range of activities are on offer in the surrounding area, including game drives in the National Park, fishing and boat cruises on the lake, and trips to the dam wall or quaint little Kariba Town.
