Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in South Africa's spectacular Drakensberg Mountains region. This area is a World Heritage Site and is breathtaking in its natural beauty. The lodge is located 1800m above sea level, surrounded by the soaring peaks of the majestic Drakensberg mountains. It is the ideal destination for a relaxing nature retreat, with the mountainous terrain also providing plenty of opportunities for adventure activities. Explore the peaks, valleys, and forests, where you will come across a variety of wildlife species, spectacular waterfalls and even hidden ancient San Rock Art. Hiking, climbing, walking, mountain-biking and horse-riding are some of the ways in which the area can be explored. The region is also perfect for birding and fishing enthusiasts, with a Cape Vulture colony found in the area. The lodge itself is made up of cosy log cabins, each with en-suite facilities. The main area features a communal bar and lounge area, with a verandah overlooking the park and providing stunning views. Curl up next to the fireplace and drink in the spectacular mountain surrounds in winter, or take a refreshing dip in the pool in summer.
