Fugitives’ Drift Umzinyathi Self-Catering Farmhouse

Umzinyathi Self-Catering Farmhouse is located in the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields region and was the home of George Buntting, who was an expert on the Anglo-Zulu War. The charming stone farm house sits at the top of the reserve with outstanding views of Isandlwana and features three en-suite bedrooms accommodating six guests, a sitting room with a fire place, a dining room, a kitchen and a large veranda with fabulous views of Isandlawana. This self catering farmhouse is a mere five to ten minute drive from the Fugitives’ Drift Lodge or Fugitives’ Drift Guest House and guests can choose to have some or all meals at the Lodge or Guest House at an additional cost. Activities can be joined at the main lodge at an additional cost and these include Battlefields tours; guided walks through Buffalo Gorge , fly fishing, hiking, tours to Mangeni Falls and to the Rorke’s Drift Arts and Crafts Centre.
